I’m excited to share with you a heartwarming family gathering that took place recently. My Great-Aunt Mei-Hsiang and Great-Uncle Bruce Wang visited our town to spend time with their daughter, Pei-Chi. To celebrate their reunion, my parents planned a delightful Sunday outing to Golden Palace De Anza for a feast of exquisite dim sum. Join me as I recount the joyous moments and delectable flavors that filled our afternoon.

Golden Palace De Anza is renowned for its authentic and mouthwatering dim sum offerings. As we entered the restaurant, the inviting aroma of steamed dumplings and freshly brewed tea enveloped us. The ambiance was lively, with families and friends gathered around tables, all eager to indulge in the culinary delights Golden Palace is known for.

Our family, filled with laughter and warmth, gathered around a large table adorned with ornate teacups and steamer baskets. Great-Aunt Mei-Hsiang and Great-Uncle Bruce Wang, both with smiles that reflected years of shared memories, expressed their delight at being reunited with us. Pei-Chi, their daughter, beamed with happiness.

The highlight of our gathering was, undoubtedly, the dim sum feast that awaited us. The servers wheeled carts laden with a variety of small, flavorful dishes to our table. From steamed siumai and char siu bao to lobster noodles and shrimp rice rolls, the array of choices was overwhelming.

Instead of picking from the passing carts, we ordered off a menu to ensure that each family member had the chance to savor their preferred delicacies. The communal experience of sharing dishes brought us closer together, fostering an atmosphere of togetherness and connection.

As we enjoyed the delectable bites, conversations flowed effortlessly. We reminisced about family gatherings from years past, sharing stories that bridged the gap between generations. Great-Aunt Mei-Hsiang and Great-Uncle Bruce Wang regaled us with tales of Taiwan, creating a tapestry of shared history and cherished moments.

Our Sunday dim sum outing at Golden Palace De Anza was more than just a long-awaited reunion; it was a celebration of family, love, and the timeless joy of being together. Great-Aunt Mei-Hsiang, Great-Uncle Bruce Wang, Pei-Chi, my parents, and I reveled in the warmth of shared laughter and the delight of exceptional dim sum.
