The storm that hit Northern California this week was intense enough that it merited coverage on the national news. Many friends & acquaintances from out-of-state messaged wishes of safety & concern. Things definitely looked rough for some parts of the Bay. Luckily, West San Jose / Cupertino was spared the beating.
At times, the rain was pounding, but at no time did our streets get flooded. Our power & electricity remained running nonstop. Plus, there were minor breaks in rainfall on all the days. Even on the roughest day (aka last Wednesday), we had the opportunity to empty the trash without getting 100% soaked.
