Had a lunch date with friends Patrick + Diane, Brianna + Oliver, and Justin (Zhou) at the Curry Pizza House in Cupertino. Our group ordered two large pizzas: a butter chicken / curry chicken masala half-and-half and a Tandoori chicken. We also went for a side of garlic sticks w/cheese, jalapenos and pineapple.
The food was more than enough for the five of us. (Brianna skipped the meal because she had her wisdom teeth removed on Friday.) My favorite was probably the garlic sticks followed by the Tandoori. I can see why some Yelp reviewers were unhappy with the services, but the pizzas were tasty enough that I’m willing to go back again. (Note: their lack of fountain drinks and grab-and-go slices means that they are unfit for single person dining.)
Afterwards, we walked over to Meet Fresh on Main Street where we were joined by our friend Dev. Despite feeling full from the pizza, most present managed to eat even more for dessert. At 2:30pm, there were other more pressing matters to attend to so we parted ways. (Justin had a steak roasting in the oven at home; Oliver / Brianna had to take their dog Cooper somewhere.)
