The Kindle reader shows that I’m only 50% through the book, but I’m pretty much finished with Chi Running by Danny Dreyer. The book is rather long, but the majority of its real content lies in Chapter 4, where all the exercises are detailed out. The rest of the book is mostly self-promoting fluff or tips on how to perform the exercises properly.

That being said, I liked the read. The tone of the book was very light. Its big emphasis on tai chi + meditation + relaxation makes it relevant to my current predicament (aka a person that stresses out randomly over little things).

The exercises themselves could be helpful, but integrating all those forms and techniques into my daily running will be a challenge. Anyhow, I’m in no rush. Monday night, I jumped over to Perfume by Patrick Siskund as my main read (thanks Mom for the rec!), but I’ll continue to browse Chi Running and reference related YouTube videos in search of answers.

PS: bad walking posture (i.e. leaning too forward) could be why my thighs feel so sore recently

Hi everybody. I like food, Broadway showtunes, Pokemon and LEGOs. Oh, and I also do a bit of programming occasionally.
