On Sunday, September 25th, I woke up with red swollen knuckles on my right hand. After half a week, the swelling subsided. By Saturday, October 1st, I was able to type long blog entrees, give my mom shoulder massages and play challenging Chopin piano tunes without any trouble.

Soon it became clear that the swelling was caused by pimples. This time around, one of them popped up right on the knuckle joint. After things cooled, I could see a red dot and feel itchy remnants exactly under where the swollen parts had been.

While it’s nice to know that I do not have arthritis or bug bites (aka the incorrect theories proposed by my friends / family), things are still frustrating because I’ve been plagued by pimples for a while. Crazy as it sounds, my gut feeling is that they are related to whatever causes my chest to fill with water and my stomach to bloat.

PS: may the two neighborhood cats that died from bug bites recently rest in piece

Hi everybody. I like food, Broadway showtunes, Pokemon and LEGOs. Oh, and I also do a bit of programming occasionally.
