Friday morning, I walked over to Creekside farmers’ market to help with the Tzu Chi information booth. I got there at 7:45 and stayed until 9:20, when I left for my work standup, which I attended while walking home. The entire time I was there, only three people stopped by our booth.

It was a quiet event, but hanging out with Tzu Chi SG ladies while enjoying a cool autumn morning (with light covers of classic rock songs as background music) was nice. That hour-and-a-half passed in no time at all; amazingly, everyone else at the booth spent the whole time standing.

Later, Jason SB picked me up for a 11:45 Friday lunch at Nvidia hosted by Chi-Jen SB, who has worked at the graphics card giant for over 20 years. The lunch was in the newly-built Voyager building, which highly reminded me of a shopping mall; others claimed it looked more like an airport.

There were ten guests at the lunch. I went for a personal tofu cheese pizza + a Pepsi Zero; most of the others went for Mexican or Indian. It was a nice meal with plenty of chatting / socializing. My half of the table discussed everything from Jay Chou to GeForce 4’s.

Hi everybody. I like food, Broadway showtunes, Pokemon and LEGOs. Oh, and I also do a bit of programming occasionally.
