Here are some random stories from around Tuesday, November 2nd:

Chipotle. At 2:42pm on Monday, a Chipotle Burrito Bowl randomly showed up at our door. The DoorDash delivery address was correct, but the package was addressed to “Peggy Peg.” The Mexican delivery man did not speak English, but with the help of Google Translate, I was able to meter out a basic conversation.

After our short talk, he let us ultimately decide the fate of the burrito bowl. It’s been a while since I’ve had Chipotle, so I decided to eat it for dinner (after picking out high FODMAP ingredients like black beans and onions). Halfway through the tasty meal, I realized that the delivery was probably meant for the Alderbrook Way in Cupertino. (Oh well…their unlucky loss.)

Refresh Plus. During my Costco outing with my dad, I bought a pack of Refresh Plus because they were on sale. There were 100 disposable eye drop drippers total, each containing 1mL of liquid. In terms of ingredients, both Refresh Plus and Refresh Relieva rely on carboxymethylcellulose sodium 0.5% for the rewetting; the main difference is that the Relieva has glycerin 0.9% as well.

When I tested it out, the Plus felt slightly less effective compared to the Relieva. However, the Costco price makes up for it: ~$20 (~16$ on sale) vs ~$40 for 100mL. Not to mention, each dripper is reusable and lasts a decent amount of time.

Monash. Bought the Monash University FODMAP app for $7.99 on App Store. According to Redditors, it has the most up-to-date info on what to eat and what to avoid. The aspect I like most about my new app is that it tells you exactly how much is a good amount. The rationing has been helpful in opening my eyes to why my stomach has bloated in the past when eating certain foods (i.e. non gluten-free Kellogg’s Corn Flakes or Greek yogurt).

Hi everybody. I like food, Broadway showtunes, Pokemon and LEGOs. Oh, and I also do a bit of programming occasionally.
