First November Weekend of 2021, Part 1:

This weekend I had fun with friends not once, but twice.

On Saturday, I had lunch at Bill’s Cafe on Stevens Creek with Eric, Tony, and Yining. This particular breakfast diner was suggested by Yining. I know I’ve been there in the past, but I don’t recall exactly when. My (unconfirmed) gut feeling is that my boss at Intuit ordered delivery from them before.

The spot was rather busy when we got there at 11:30am, but we were seated in less than ten minutes. I went for the “Eggs Benedict”; Yining got the “Tri-Tip Benedict”; Tony and Eric went for the “Country Fried Steak and Eggs.” Yining and Eric both also added Irish coffee drinks (aka caffeine + alcohol) as a side.

Before ordering, I didn’t realize that Canadian bacon was more like ham, but I still had a nice meal. Compared to other breakfast spots, Bill’s is a tad bit more pricey, but they do provide a lot of food. (Not that I should be the one complaining…Yining treated the group to celebrate his new job.) After lunch, we walked around Cupertino Main Street and bought desserts (aka fruity drinks from Meet Fresh and Vitality Bowls) before parting ways at 2:20pm.

Hi everybody. I like food, Broadway showtunes, Pokemon and LEGOs. Oh, and I also do a bit of programming occasionally.
