This particularly cold winter caused brother Chris to migrate to his room, leaving the garage abandoned. Now that his garage computer chair is untouched, I felt okay swapping it with mine.

The primary reason for the switch is because his computer chair has no arms. With my shoulder injuries, chair arms often get in the way. It’s true that I already have my Bathwa kneeling chair, but that doesn’t play well when testing out my new Salomon shoes. (I wore them indoors fairly often to garner if they are a good fit.)

Anyway, it’s been several days since the switch. I’m no longer regularly testing the Salomons, but I like Chris’ chair enough that I’ve continued using it on and off.

IMHO, it’s hard to say which chair is the best. Standing up without a chair is ideal, but that’s hard to maintain, especially on days I go running. Anyhow, the computer chair and the kneeling chair stress different parts of the body (kneeling chair = better for neck, computer chair = better for shoulders); depending on my mood, I alternate between the two.

PS: one big advantage of the computer chair is that it allows leaning back, making TV show viewing (or YouTube watching) a lot more comfortable.

Hi everybody. I like food, Broadway showtunes, Pokemon and LEGOs. Oh, and I also do a bit of programming occasionally.
