On Thursday, I picked up my new Flexon glasses from De Anza Vision Center. The first comments from Mom (who was walking with me) was that they looked extremely similar to my old Prodesign Denmark. As an experiment, I decided to keep mum about my new acquisition and see how long it would take for Dad to notice something different.

(The next morning, Mom ruined that test by revealing the truth during our morning coffee. Grrrr.)

Anyway, the new Flexons feel alright. My brain quickly got accustomed to the sharper images coming from the left lens. The Flexons are lighter than the Prodesign, but the weight difference is only really noticeable when taking them off or putting them on.

Like the Prodesign, I do have to push the glasses up my nose from time to time. However, the slippage isn’t bad enough for me to run crying back to the optometrist for adjustments. For their price, the Flexons weren’t a good investment, but it’s nice to have a change.

Hi everybody. I like food, Broadway showtunes, Pokemon and LEGOs. Oh, and I also do a bit of programming occasionally.
