Five weeks after the start of the season, my parents finally got around to some serious spring cleaning. The biggest changes they did were in my room. On Saturday, they disassembled the unused bed frame, which had been acting as a big shelf for clothes and replaced it with my old dresser drawer, which had been sitting unused in the garage.

They also moved a big reclining chair into my room from the living room, cleared out a ton of items from the master bedroom, and left an old Diamondback mountain bike for free by the road. (The bike was picked up on Tuesday morning.)

I can safely say that I like these changes. It opens up a fair amount of space. In fact, I can do several of my other PT exercises (i.e. foam roller, child’s pose and book openers) in my room now. (Though to be frank, I’ll probably continue to do them in the living room; having Jeopardy! / Family Feud / Wheel of Fortune play in the background while stretching is nice.)

That being said, my room is still messy. The closet is stuffed full of odds and ends. Most of the items there (i.e. my CPAP gear or my board games) are never going to be used, but I’m still reluctant to toss them.

PS: all that moving was a lot of work (and I mean a LOT) for my dad. Big props to him for helping out!

Hi everybody. I like food, Broadway showtunes, Pokemon and LEGOs. Oh, and I also do a bit of programming occasionally.
