Happy Mother’s Day!
To celebrate, on Friday I hopped in the car after my 12min Google morning interview and joined my mom for a 100min shopping spree on De Anza. We ended up coursing through The Home Depot and the SummerWinds Nursery and picking up many many many garden plants. (Yamagami’s Garden Center almost got a chance, but road construction steered us away.)
To show my appreciation, I covered the $85 tab. Out of all the plants I purchased for her, my mom’s favorites were the grafted cacti and the peony.
PS: when Dad was asked what he potentially wanted for Father’s Day, he grumpily replied “no more belly drumming”
