Thursday’s 5:30pm dinner was supposed to be a reunion with JW, who was back in the Bay for work. He ended up bailing last minute (busy partying with co-workers in SF), but the rest of us ate out anyway. Our restaurant of choice was Rice Junky in Santa Clara (a suggestion by OC, who eats there frequently).

Everyone else ordered a meat bowl; I tried to keep it light with a veggie wrap. That turned out to be not the case. Like the bowls, the veggie wrap was huge. Not to mention, it was rather oily. I have to give props to PT for managing to finish his own bowl, half his wife’s bowl, as well as most of a seafood pancake.

We ended our meal with a donut dessert from Modo across the street and several hours of chatting / playing with PT’s baby boy Jasper. By the time I got home (thanks JZ for the ride!), it was close to 9pm.

On a related note, that meal was a reminder of how a dry blocked state can be worse. Going in, I felt tired / out of focus. I fumbled around with words during the dinner conversations we were having. Eating so much converted the dry state to wet. I began regurgitating again, but felt more energized / awake the rest of the night.

Hi everybody. I like food, Broadway showtunes, Pokemon and LEGOs. Oh, and I also do a bit of programming occasionally.
