Last weekend, I had a spree of CPS daytime seizures. The first one happened at 11pm on Saturday the 29th. On Sunday, I had one at 12:20pm while helping Eric move his tree and another at 2:24pm in his car. On Monday, I had one at 8:40am, one at 5pm, and one at 8:43pm, plus two after going to bed. As of today, I still have at least one a day.

It’s hard to determine the reason for this CPS spree. Here are some possibilities:

  • Alcohol — Before meeting with Eric on Sunday, I had a can of White Claw Pineapple.
  • Poor Sleep — Started sleeping with my Levoit humidifier next to my bed. Found the noise a little disturbing and ended up getting up many times.
  • Food Clogging — Might’ve eaten too much. For example, Sunday morning I had a CLIF bar, cereal + milk, banana, collagen powder, chocolate Kinder bars, sponge cake, Godiva chocolate, and artichoke hummus + bread before lunch.
  • Mucinex — Took an extended release guaifenesin pill Saturday night.

My best guess is that food clogging and Mucinex is to blame. Mucinex possibly thins out the blocked waste, allowing it to: 1. become difficult to regurgitate fully or 2. seep into unholy places.

Anyhow, nothing is confirmed. For now, I’m going to hold off on any more Mucinex. If #2 is a true reason, there won’t be 100% results, but I should see gradual improvement.
