Best nighttime settings = min humidity, leave on the entire night, fill at least halfway before starting, keep door closed

The Levoit Dual 150 seems to help me sleep better. With the machine running, I find it easier to sleep through the whole night. By early morning it does make the windows watery, so sometimes I leave the door slightly open to give my room a break. (Note: even a small crack greatly decreases its efficiency.)

Best daytime settings = max humidity, run for ~20min, keep door closed

For daytime, I have been trying 20min sauna sessions inside my room. I set the Levoit to max, close my door and turn on a YouTube video or TV episode. During those sessions, I begin to feel less tired. The cool mist may induce regurgitation, in turn reducing blockage. However, the effect is nowhere as strong as taking a 10min steamy shower.

Remaining daytime questions = Should I stand over the humidifier or let it humidify the room slowly? Would a warm steam inhaler be more effective? How long should sessions last and how frequent can they be? Should my body be in a certain state (i.e. blockage level & wetness) before a humidifier session?
