My July 5th plans to bike Shoreline Trail with my dad felt risky.

So many things could’ve gone wrong. It’s been five years since the bicycle CPS incidents where I fainted while biking to Apple; I still haven’t found the cause. The Go Fish poke bowl I ate the day prior left tough blockage that remained in the morning, a consequence of overstuffing myself on delicious food. Dad’s bike and Chris’s bike that I was borrowing both have recent mechanical problems.

Anyway, everything turned out great. I was able to survive the entire 103-minute bike ride unscathed. Dad and I went on a route from the Shoreline Boathouse to Byxbee Park to the Palo Alto Airport, turning back at the San Francisquito Creek. After our 12.36mi ride, Dad and I stopped by Burma Taste (on Murphy Ave in downtown Sunnyvale) and had some rich Thai / Burmese curry. Dad got the eggplant variant, I went for the chicken.

PS: other activities considered for the day off were kayaking, biking Coyote Creek, and visiting the Santa Cruz beach

Hi everybody. I like food, Broadway showtunes, Pokemon and LEGOs. Oh, and I also do a bit of programming occasionally.
