Tried the 8:30am Energy Bagua meditation on Wednesday. (The 7am session was a tad too early for me.) I thought the tree walk would take a total of an hour, but I was wrong. Warmup was 15min, the tree circling was 70min, and cooldown was 15min. Combined with the time it took for me to walk to Calabazas, I was out of the house for well over 2 hours.
The event coordinator for the 8:30 session, W (aka the mom of 2010 Lynbrook grad GC), was helpful and friendly. Like myself, W suffers from many physical injuries / ailments. A majority of them of were healed by doing Energy Bagua and she confidently expressed the opinion that the same could happen for my shoulders.
After months of physical therapy, I doubt that’s the case, but I do see how it can help. Unfortunately, the length of the meditation exercise makes it hard to fit into my schedule. Luckily, Energy Bagua practitioners are lenient on time. Many of the people present during my walk arrived late and left early. I won’t come every day, but I will probably stop by on days when my work is light.
