Hello! Here is some random news from last weekend:
Digestion. The lesson I learned from Red Robin is to eat slower and don’t be afraid to box some food home. I broke many of my rules and guidelines that Friday night out with friends. My lettuce wrapped bacon burger was the last to come and I chowed down quickly in order to not come home too late. Along with the Caesar side salad, there was just so much food. Nevertheless, I finished it all.
Sad to say, I had to pay for it dearly. My stomach felt very bloated over the weekend, likely due to digestion issues. It was so bloated Saturday night that I had to skip dinner.
Jaws. I re-watched the 1975 Steven Spielberg classic with my dad on Saturday after seeing that it was available on Amazon Prime. In the beginning of the movie, I saw that the movie was rated PG. Immediately, I assumed an error. However, after the movie, I checked the webs; turns out PG is the actual rating. Back when it was released, PG-13 was not a thing. There was violence and blood, but since there was no sexual content, Jaws got stamped with a PG.
Interestingly enough, my brother Chris claims to have never watched Jaws. Personally, I highly doubt that is true. Back in the day, at holiday parties this shark based thriller was one of the most commonly played VHS tapes. Chris could’ve been too scared to remember (aka hiding under a pillow because the great white was too frightening), but I’m pretty sure he’s been to Amity Island at least once.
