Instead of our typical movies, my dad and I finished watching Stranger Things season 4 volume 2 last weekend. Not that there was much of a difference; clocking in at 85min (for episode 8 on Saturday) and 150min (for episode 9 on Sunday), it was pretty much like watching a film. I was slightly surprised Chris had enough time to join us for both; I would’ve expected him to have more social activities / plans.

Anyway, this season of Stranger Things has eased my brother into regular TV viewings with his pops and his bro. On Monday, the three of us started Ms Marvel together. I can’t say for certain, but my gut feeling is that he will continue to join us. Last week, he often looked deeply immersed in his video games, but was willing to drop everything on the spot to watch rural kids fight hellish beasts. Not to mention, he no longer has the password to his friend’s Netflix account.

On the other hand, I often spy Chris playing solitaire on his Android during our TV viewing sessions. This could indicate a general lack of interest in TV cinema and may foretell things reverting back to the way they were before.

PS: my dad and I also jump on our phones fairly often during the viewings, but only for work-related matters.

Hi everybody. I like food, Broadway showtunes, Pokemon and LEGOs. Oh, and I also do a bit of programming occasionally.
