My arms have been feeling really out-of-place. The two shoulders take turns feeling sore; as soon as I get the left under control, the right acts up and vice versa. During my final visit in April 2022, Peak PT said I was good to go as long as I followed their exercises regularly; however, it feels like things have changed so I want a second opinion.

The three Cigna-accepting places I considered were Velocity, Cupertino, and Therapydia. Therapydia won out thanks to distance. According to Google Maps, both Cupertino and Therapydia are 20min from my house, but Therapydia can be reached by bus.

My initial check-up appointment was this Wednesday at 10:20am. Even though it’s owned by a big conglomerate, the place in Saratoga is much smaller than I expected. (Think the size of a small boba shop like TeaTop; I suppose Peak is still the ruler around this area.)

The person who scheduled ahead of me last-minute cancelled, so I was seen 25min early by Dr Tony Torrez. He looked about my age and was friendly + talkative. During this visit, we mainly went over the shoulders and neck. He also took measurements of my range of motion. I haven’t interacted with Dr Torrez enough to give a fair evaluation, but his adept noticing of my shoulders’ popping noise is promising.

Hi everybody. I like food, Broadway showtunes, Pokemon and LEGOs. Oh, and I also do a bit of programming occasionally.
