While searching for a chest strap, Mom found a Victorinox fanny pack in the closet. She waved it in front of my face and laughed how I should’ve looked harder instead of wasting money on random Amazon crap.

While the Victorinox would’ve satisfied all my needs (i.e. a way to keep my iPhone out of my pockets when wearing my oversized Unionbay cargo shorts), the Fitter’s Niche is superior because I don’t carry much in general. It’s true that Victorinox is not as big and clunky as my JanSport, but it still feels heavy.

Just for kicks, I tested out the Victorinox for a few days. It does have the advantage of allowing easier interaction with my iPhone. Taking sneak photos of squirrels or jotting down quick ideas that pop into my head is as easy as it was before. Nevertheless, the Fitter’s Niche will remain my primary smartphone carrier for now. (Sorry, that was a Dad’s joke.)

PS: can’t shake the feeling that I took the Victorinox with me on my 2017 Taiwan trip

Hi everybody. I like food, Broadway showtunes, Pokemon and LEGOs. Oh, and I also do a bit of programming occasionally.
