After dropping me off at Valley Radiology Los Gatos at 12:56 on Friday, Dad offered to wait in the parking lot. I reassured him I could get home on my own. Somewhat reluctantly, he agreed and drove off.

That turned out to be the right choice. My CT scan (“Sinus WO”) and X-ray (“Chest 2 Views, Pa and Lateral”) each took two minutes to complete. However, there was a ton of waiting. That was the case even though I had already completed my paperwork online.

By the time I left Valley Radiology, it was 2:18.

I had some boring grunt work remaining, but I let myself enjoy the rest of the afternoon. First, I took bus 37 to SummerWinds Campbell. I walked down Winchester Blvd and highly considered eating at one of the restaurants that lined the street.

Then, I used line 26 to bus to Westgate mall. I had shown some restraint on Winchester, but by the time I reached Saratoga, I was hungry. At 3:30, I ordered a kid’s meal from King Eggroll Express: chow mein with a side of orange chicken and an crispy eggroll.

I spent the next half hour slowly nipping at my meal while people-watching kids (and their parents) finish up the last week of summer break. The orange chicken was a little on the hard side, but I still managed to devour it all. For my post-dinner walk, I strolled around Ross, TJ Maxx, and Target; ’twas past 5:00 by the time I got back home.

Hi everybody. I like food, Broadway showtunes, Pokemon and LEGOs. Oh, and I also do a bit of programming occasionally.
